Standing at the doorway to the next milestone as a high school senior is wonderful time of life. The mind is nimble and quick, the body firm and trim. To capture the body on film is relatively easy, but if you stop there you have done a disservice to the senior. Senior photography requires skill because young men and women have unique characteristics at that point in their life. They have the essence of innocence still in their soul, the mind of a warrior, fierce determination, and the confidence of an Olympic athlete just to name a few. Many other qualities exist as well and it is only a skilled professional photographer such as those at Phil Hurd Photography that can transform the unique mix of these attributes that form a teen's personality into a physical image- a photograph that captures the "soul of the subject."
